Hear from our new Head of Pre-Sales, Liz Preston-Kemp!

Where did you grow up and study?

I’m originally from Edinburgh, I grew up in Scotland and studied Hospitality Management at Uni in Aberdeen. After graduating and briefly working within Marketing for a UK Hotel chain, I travelled and worked overseas up until 2012. 

 I still love to travel, but don’t have the same opportunities to do so as I did when I was younger. I have a 17 year old daughter and my son is about to turn 15 who make sure my life is never quiet!

 I love cooking, yoga and taking my crazy spaniel for walks. After a break due to injury I’ve started running again although quite slowly for now…

What is your professional background?

My last role was as a Pre-sales Team Leader for a channel IT company. This role gave me a wealth of knowledge and experience in IT services, from project roll outs across a number of IT skillsets to maintenance and managed service support offerings. This role not only touched upon Pre-sales but I assisted within PMO through to Finance ensuring a seamless transition from pre to post sales to invoicing.

 I’m a registered Prince 2 Project Manager and I also have CMI Level’s 3 and 5 Certificates in Principles of Management and Leadership.

 As Head of Pre-sales for Gentium Tech International, I’m excited to help build upon GTI’s current Pre-sales processes with a view to simplifying procedures and enhancing the customers experience from point of engagement through to project completion.
